our legal fees

Our services are NOT charged on an hourly rate.

We will tell you from the start how our work will cost or we will give you an honest estimate of the foreseeable costs. We will notify you of the fees, costs and expenses for the duration of our mandate.

BUT if we work on an hourly basis, we will charge a hourly fee of US$800.00 per hour.

Racine Legal Inc prides itself on "legal fee transparency".  We know the last thing clients want is to be surprised by a new statement of account.

To receive a quote of our fees, fill out the questionnaire by answering questions which will help us assess the scope of your legal requirements. 

Please understand that:

• What lawyers charge is highly skilled professional service applied to assist in your unique Immigration or Citizenship situations.

• A low fee quote may mean that you are buying little lawyer time!

• We do NOT charge an hourly rate

• For special legal representation, we charge a hourly rate of US$800 dollars.

Our quoted fees (in US dollars) are set to maximize your prospects of Immigration or Citizenship success in Canada.

In considering whether to hire anyone to assist you, ask yourself:

1. Is the price of "failure" much higher than legal fees?

2. Could you keep track of the Canadian immigration laws, bylaws and rules, the numerous provincial immigration laws, by-laws and rules, and all Canadian Immigration Inter Provincial Agreements and international agreements?

3. Could you argue your own case, taking into account rules of evidence and procedure, in front of the Immigration & Refugee Board of Canada or Federal Court of Canada?

TAKING APPOINTMENTS

Contacting RACINE LEGAL inc. law firm to make an appointment is not free of charge.

However, we draw your attention to the fact that unless you have a file currently opened with RACINE LEGAL inc. law firm, any information request other than one relating to the taking of an appointment is a request for legal consultation with a member of the Barreau du Québec and thus it incurs legal fees at an hourly rate of US$800.00.

If you take an appointment with RACINE LEGAL inc. law firm, please take note that a consultation fee will be payable at the first meeting/consultation. Whether you contact us by phone or email, our legal hourly fee is US$800.00.

Once the meeting/consultation is confirmed, the hourly fee of US$800.00 becomes due and is payable immediately in US dollars.

PRE-ASSESSMENT QUESTIONNAIRE

The sending of the filled pre-assessment questionnaire is a request for legal advices from a lawyer of the Quebec Bar/ Barreau du Québec.

The analysis of the answers to the questionnaire is subject to a nominal fee of US$800.00 US, all taxes included, is payable by way of an advance payment on VISA or MasterCard, via Stripe and/orZoho.
